Swordcraft is a Live Action Battle Game and LARP where players fight with reinforced, realistic looking foam rubber weapons and padded arrows. We meet once a week on a Friday night (formerly Tuesday night), in Princes park to engage in massed combat. We usually have over 150 people fighting it out over battlefield objectives. Think of it as paintball meets a tabletop fantasy battle game. It is carnage on a massive scale with a dash of medieval re-enactment, roleplaying and cosplay.

To play Swordcraft at Conquest
Everybody and anybody is welcome to join in the fun of Swordcraft at Conquest. To sign up for a session at Conquest, either register online (http://aon.arsimagica.net/aon), or sign up on the day (at least 20 mins before a session starts). What you need to play!
Some of us wear armour, but you don't need any gear to start with. We can provide you with a rubber sword and a tabbard. Try to bring an extra belt to wear over your tabbard, but this isn't essential. Comfortable shoes are recommended but not essential. (In other words you don't need to bring anything to play at Conquest).
Schedule
Swordcraft will be running battles on the Melbourne High Oval at the following times. Meet in room to sign in and get your weapon.

Cost:
To play Swordcraft at Conquest you will need to purchase two game session tickets per Battle Session from the Conquest registration desk or order them previously online. The cost per ticket is $6 if you buy it online and $7.50 if you buy it at the registration desk. This means that to play a 3hr battle session of Swordcraft it will cost either $12 or $15.
